Dissolves Mineral Build-Up

Strip-It is a unique blend of acids, surfactants, and wetting agents that act together to produce maximum cleaning results with no need for mechanical scrubbing.

Delivered by a hydraulic sprayer or foam applicator, it quickly penetrates and removes algae stains, and dissolves mineral build-up from fertilizers, calcium, iron stains, hard water deposits, and greenhouse whitewash coatings without clogging lines or emitters.

Strip-It eliminates an environment for over-wintering pests such as snails, nematodes, fungus gnats, insects, algae, and diseases. It is easy on glass polyethylene and polycarbonate, storage sheds, pots, plug trays, ground cover, shade cloth, benches, cooling pads, irrigation lines, and food-handling equipment. For use in heavy or light-duty cleaning in exterior or well-ventilated applications while plants in the area are protected.

Especially useful during crop rotation, Strip-It removes all common soils and, when used to clear irrigation lines, eliminates mineral residues left from fertilizer build-up to improve water flow through the entire irrigation system.

Application

Greenhouse Blues

Algae staining on walls of several large greenhouses was becoming excessive and a nearby highway was causing gummy black soot to form on the roofs. This was interfering with growing conditions and light penetration

The Right Solution & Dilution

Having seen Strip-It at a trade show, operators contacted their local distributor and asked for a demo. The demo showed the diversity of the product in different dilutions for both light-duty and heavy-duty applications. No adverse effects were noted on structural elements, glass and the process took little additional labor.

Let The Sun Shine In

Strip-It was applied as foam on the outer structure, clearing the soot off of roofs with a single spray-down and increased light penetration to the crops. Spray wash removed the algae staining from the inner walls and floor with no scrubbing. Additionally, irrigation lines were cleared free of biofilm and mineral build-up, improving flow and water purity.
